SEAGUARDIAN LIFEGUARD SAVES SEA TURTLES.

02nd July, 2008 Mumbai.

Sea Turtles
Sea turtles are one of the Earth’s most ancient creatures. The seven species found today became distinct from all other turtles at least 110 million years ago. The sea turtle’s shell, or “carapace”, is streamlined for swimming through the water. Unlike other turtles, sea turtles cannot retract their legs and head into their shells. Their color varies between yellow, greenish and black depending on the species.

Sea Turtles are now seen on Juhu Beach sea shore, in this week four sea turtles came on sea shore to take sunlight and after that they went back in the water safely, our Sea Guardian lifeguard rescued one sea Turtle from fishing net, after 20 min. of operation the turtle was freed and safely send in the water, Sea guardian lifeguards are keeping close watch on this turtles so that no one harms them or take away, if this turtles are not in good health we take help from karuna for animals help to treat them. The Sea Guardian lifeguard will take special care of this turtles and keep check in day and in the night so they are safe on the Sea shore of Juhu .
